my responsibilities

  • The student in charge of driving the qualitative component of the project.
  • Developed research instruments for effective data collection during interviews and streamlined data analysis processes.
  • Conducted in-depth interviews with patients from diverse backgrounds, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Collaboratively facilitated group design sessions (remote and in-person) with BIPOC patients, fostering an inclusive and participatory environment.
  • Facilitated and guided co-design sessions involving active participation of healthcare professionals.
  • Conducted in-depth qualitative data analysis utilizing template and thematic frameworks.
  • Authored and prepared research papers for submission to research conferences.
  • Provided guidance and supervision to a group of undergraduate and graduate students.
